The GOOD: I gave this a single star for the design. The top folds down or you can raise it up for more towel drying surface area. It has multiple hooks for flexibility and a moveable rack for already dried towels.The BAD: 1) The unit does not warm towels as you would expect so do not expect this unit to give you nice toasty towels. The “warmth” is barely perceptible. 2) the mounting studs were loose and I had to completely dismantle the unit to reattach the studs securely. Locking washers were not used on all the studs. You need to be a reasonable handy man to buy this unit. 3) The mounting hardware was a joke. So flimsy and small I did not even try to use them. I went to Home Depot and purchased more substantial mounting hardware. 4) The worst part of the purchase was the completely NONEXISTENT customer service. My remote control was broken and although the unit worked, I could not adjust the heating time. I immediately contacted customer service through Amazon and all you could do is email them your problem for a hopeful resolution. They actually initially responded within 24 hours and apologized and told me they would send me a replacement remote control by special delivery. For this reason I mounted the unit expecting to get a replacement remote control. IT NEVER HAPPENED. I contacted them again in a few weeks and never received another response or remote control. I contacted Amazon’s customer service several times and they confirmed the only contact with this company was through email. Amazon assured me they would help me resolve this problem and each time they said they would contact the supplier and call me back. They NEVER called me back or resolved my problem with the remote control.This was actually worse than no customer service as my initial contact gave me a false sense of security that this issue would be easily resolved and made me feel comfortable mounting the unit and not sending it back. Finally, the 30 day return policy expired and I was stuck with it. CAVEAT EMPTOR…for those not familiar with Latin…buyer beware.This is probably going back. The instructions are absolute garbage! Somehow I managed to get it into network mode (wtf??) and could not get it out of network mode. I did exactly as the instructions said to exit network mode and no luck. I removed the battery, put it back in and now it will not go back into network mode. Should a towel rack be this confusing???This feels like cheap plastic in your hand and it does not get hot enough to dry towels. We have a really good towel warmer in our other bathroom that we bought for around $400 from Lowe’s. That one gets so hot you can’t keep your hand on it. It’s wonderful! This little towel rack is barely worn even after being plugged in for hours. We returned it! They were great about accepting the return.Ordered this for my daughter’s bathroom remodel. It’s a surprise and I know she will totally love it… so unexpected but a completely cool indulgence!! Came on time, packaged well. Contractor says that it should be a breeze for HIM to install. Now, me putting it together and installing, on the they hand, is a totally different topic!I love the way this towel rack looks, so classy! Unfortunately my cat took off with the manual and I couldn't find one online. Luckily, I found this pretty easy to assemble without instructions. It comes with all the hardware needed (minus the screw driver). I chose to install mine without screwing into the wall in case we wanted to move it. Just wipe down the area you want to install it and let fully dry. attach the sticky pads to the circle base parts and hold the rack in place on the wall for a good minute to get a good stick.I put 4 stars because while beautiful, the heating aspect could work better. I find the towels to be warm but not as much as I wanted. Still a great rack!The luxury of warm towels is priceless. Works as described.So let's be honest, a towel warmer is not going to save your life, it is not going to change how you look at the world, but it will make you feel like Royalty.I put one in my wife's bathroom and it was so nice to have a warm towel after a shower we are adding them to our other bathrooms as well. She is making noise about installing a couple by the pool too.This towel warmer heats up fast and has great fit and finish. This warmer has a shelf sort of and is a great addition that you will most likely appreciate as we do.This towel rack works good, looks good, has a good feel to it (sturdy not flimsy) and was easy to install.
